guided ski and splitboard tours

This winter, discover the Arctic backcountry the way it’s meant to be – breathtaking views, long flowing descents, and untouched powder – We know it as „pudder“! Our local guides lead you into wild landscapes where every turn is about freedom, not risk.
We don’t chase the steepest lines, we chase the best ones. That means safe routes, unforgettable scenery, and skiing that leaves you smiling all the way down to the fjord.

Terms
Risk and liability
We´ll keep you as safe as possible, but participation in backcountry activities is at your own risk. Off-piste skiing is a high-risk activity, and no matter the level of expertise, it can never be completely without risk.
Your safety and well-being are our highest priority. We only work with certified and approved instructors and ski guides who have extensive local knowledge of the mountains. In addition, we follow Norwegian Mountain Forum–certified HSE routines to minimize risks and help prevent accidents.
However, please note that Tromsø Powder Guides and/or their instructors cannot assume financial responsibility for accidents that may occur during courses, guided trips, or other organized activities.
Cancellation policy
- More than 42 days before departure: Full refund.
- 42 to 29 days before departure: 50% refund.
- 28 days or less before departure: No refund. The full trip cost will be charged.
Cancellations must be made in writing. The date we receive your message determines which tier applies.
If we cancel
If we must cancel due to weather, avalanche conditions, or other safety concerns, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund. Guides may also alter or shorten a trip in the field if conditions require it; this does not entitle guests to a refund.
Insurance
Mountain rescue in Norway is free for everyone, but for your peace of mind we require that all guests have insurance covering medical costs related to skiing and/or climbing in alpine terrain.
We also recommend checking that your policy includes cancellation cover, so you’re protected if you need to cancel your trip without being entitled to a refund.
